1.Function:
The flying-shear cut-to-length line is a specialized equipment used in sheet metal processing. It operates by continuously cutting moving coil material, as opposed to the stationary-shear line where the coil is momentarily stopped during shearing.
2. Structure:
The flying shear cut-to-length process involves a hydraulic shearer that moves in synchronization with the moving coil material being fed. This hydraulic shearer, known as a flying shear, is controlled by a servo system that controls the back and forth movements. In one cutting, the cross shearer accelerates to the same speed of moving coil material to cut off . And after the cutting is completed, the cross shearer will return to the original position. In continuous cutting, these actions will be executed in cycles. This technology allows for efficient and rapid cutting of materials without the need to pause the production process.
3. Application:
Flying shear technology is applied for the cutting of thick material usually , or thin aluminium plates and other material that need surface protection.
